Suzanne Somers Breakthrough BookI saw Suzanne Somers being interviewed on the Larry King show last night.  I watched the show when it originally aired in October and found it to be absolutely fascinating!   Somer's talked about her newest book "Breakthrough: Eight Steps to Wellness" and this prompted me to go out the next day and buy a copy.  This is Somer's 18th book that she has written in her quest to help people live longer, healthier lives.
 
In "Breakthrough:  Eight Steps to Wellness"  Somers' shares her eight steps to health, wellness, and longevity in the hope to educate not only the general public, but the medical community as well.  Unfortunately most conventional doctors learn about medication through medical journals which are published by large pharmaceutical companies and have very little training on the imperatively important issue of nutrition.  

Somer's interviewed twenty Anti Aging Experts and Renowned Specialists about the growing concern of the multitude of preservatives, chemicals, and toxins in our foods and how this is not only putting our health at risk, but out younger generation's as well.  She also discussed how main-stream pharmaceuticals are slowing eroding our minds and bodies.  In this eye-opening book, Somer's outlines proven natural remedies and preventative care healing methods that most doctors are neglecting to talk about with their patients.

Somer's Message is that we have to START TAKING RESPONSIBILITY for our own Health and to be Proactive!

This is a LIFE CHANGING book with a wealth of information for those interested in leading edge anti aging alternative medicine!  While Somer's admits to going to extremes in her quest for health and longevity - Some people, including myself may not totally agree or would feel comfortable following her complete regimen.  Despite that, I applaud Suzanne Somer's for helping to get the word out there and to educate people on this very important subject and to make people really think!  WE are in charge of our health!  Let's join together in changing our attitude (as well as our kids) about health and nutrition and do something about it!

I highly recommend Breakthrough: Eight Steps to Wellness and would not be surprised if it ends up being another New York Times Best Seller!  I give it a 4 star rating!!!
