10 Years YoungerIt seems everybody these days is looking for the fountain of youth.  While there are costly surgical and cosmetic options - you can slow the effects of aging with these (10) anti aging tips that will help to restore health and vitality to your appearance. 


  1. Sleep on your Back - When you sleep on your stomach or side, you smash your face into the pillow, eventually causing deep wrinkles.  Sleeping on your back elevated by several pillows, keeps fluid from pooling around the eyes and will help to reduce fine line and wrinkles.
  2. Smile Often - Smiling lifts your face and draws your features upward while creating a positive youthful impression.  Be aware of your expressions!  Catch yourself frowning or scowling - Smile instead!
  3. Think Young to Stay Young - This very simple technique really works.  If you think old, you're going to look old. So, think young - feel young - and stay young!!!
  4. Whiten your Teeth - As we age our teeth get darker.  With all the new technology on the market, there's really no reason to have discolored teeth. Professional teeth whitening will brighten your smile and take years off your age.
  5. Color your Hair - As we age and start getting gray hair, usually the rest of our hair starts to become dull and less vibrant.  If you have mature skin, a good option is to have your hair dyed slightly lighter than your natural hair color, and then add some soft highlights to give it texture and to make the color more natural looking.
  6. Brighten your Eyes - The eyes are generally the first area to show signs of aging with fine lines and wrinkles, puffiness, and dark circles.  You can instantly reverse signs of aging by applying cool cucumber slices over the eyes.  Cucumbers contain anti-inflamatory properties that soothe while reducing redness and puffiness leaving your eyes brighter and more youthful looking.  NOTE: If you have dark circles, use a concealer to lighten and brighten the under-eye area.
