Is laser skin tightening safe?

Yes, laser skin tightening is very safe, non-invasive and approved by the FDA.  There is little or no risk and the most common side effects are redness or mild tenderness in the treated areas which are temporary and subside within a few days.

How long does the treatment take?

Are the treatments painful?

Generally with ReFirme and Titan there is little or no pain, although you may feel a slight tingling sensation.  Most patients tolerate the procedure very well.  With Thermage you will experience varying sensations of cold and heat and may require local anesthesia.



How many treatments will I need to see results?

With Thermage and Titan you may only require a single treatment.  With ReFirme generally 3+ treatments are required spaced about a month apart.  Facial skin tightening is usually noticeable after the first treatment, and will continue to tighten over the next several months.

ReFirme generally runs about $1,200+ for the entire face.  Titan and Thermage will typically cost from $2,000 and up.



How long will the results last?

If you practice good skin care which includes a good anti aging skin care regimen along with a daily moisturizer containing an SPF of 30+ the results will typically last from 24-36 months with twice yearly maintenance treatments.
